Facebook has over 550 million mobile users. A recent study indicates that in the next few years, nearly $20 billion will be spent each year on mobile advertising. Facebook is looking to monetize its mobile platform more effectively, and to display ads without hurting the user experience.
Deliverables
1) Propose a method to display mobile advertisements that is unobtrusive and intuitive to the user.
2) If helpful, attach a basic mockup of the interface to show how the ad is displayed or a diagram to explain the page flow.
NOTE: Avoid replicating Facebook’s recently launched Sponsored Stories. Sponsored stories are status updates that double as ads in the mobile news feed.
