To whom it may concern,

Following a recent search on Linkedin I found an opening in the corporate banking graduate program I wish to apply for the role.I am a final year student of the Bachelor of Science (Financial Mathematics and Economics) program at , my current grade is 2.1 and my final result will be available the end of August.My reasons for applying to AIB are multifaceted. I have a deep interest in capital markets coupled withexcellent communication and interpersonal skills .The sheer diversity and scope of work opportunities the program offer make AIB exactly where I want to start and build my career.

Throughout my years in college I developed the ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team through my roles in the Student Managed Fund (SMF) and group projects. For me, working in a group dynamic was one of the highlights of university life. I listened and learnt from fellow students while always trying to keep discussions focused and ensuring deadlines were met. In the SMF I initially worked as an analyst for the consumer goods and services sector the year following I took on the role as sector manager for the oil and gas industry. As a sector manager I became responsible for two analysts and issued overviews of the turbulent oil and gas market. Being accountable for my analysts I worked closely with them to ensure their analysis was thorough and stressed the importance of teamwork.

The hands on experience with trading capital markets and my years spent studying the field of finance and economics make me a suitable candidate for this position and I believe I would thrive in the investment bank industry.
