Thank you for reviewing my resume and application for the position of Political Affairs Officer within the Europe Division of the Department of Political Affairs. I am confident that my diverse experience, interdisciplinary skill set, comprehensive understanding of advanced geopolitics, and drive to succeed make me a strong candidate to support the work of the United Nations—a long-standing personal goal.

My foundational experience with European politics came during my study of European politico-economic integration at the Center for XXX at XXX University. At the time, much of the conversation among intergovernmental organizations covered the lead up to the Russo-Georgian War and conflict in the South Caucasus. At the culmination of my academic endeavors in political science and international affairs, I published my honors thesis titled XXX.
